Valentine's

Carlos and Titi were very excited about Valentine's Day. They loved writing the cards they sent and the ones they gave their classmates and teachers.


We celebrated Valentine's in Orlando. We had some tickets that were about to expire for one of the Disney's waterparks and we decide to go this weekend. We were very lucky with the weather. We went to the waterpark on Saturday and it was nice and warm. Don loved being able to just sit and relax.


We also went to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. The sunset was beautiful!

Mimi

Last weekend Mimi participated in the Goddess Dance Festival at the Lake Worth Playhouse. It was a wonderful show. She danced in 3 acts and was very good. They did a Moulin Rouge song and Mimi's costume was beautiful!! I wish I had invited Mema and other people but like always, I was not very organized and did not pay attention to where she was going to dance and only learned it at the last minute. After the show we went to have something to eat at an outdoor restaurant with Luke, Roc, Tere, Eli and some other people. It was fun to be out (by myself) at night!

Homemade laundry detergent

At the beginning of January I made some liquid laundry detergent using a recipe that I found at Down to Earth, a blog that a read. It was very inexpensive and it has worked great. I gave some to Tere and she liked it too so I am going to make some more to share with other people that I know are trying to save some money.
