End of school year

We were busy at the beginning of the month with the end of the school year activities. Carlos and Titi had their class parties and I helped at both by providing a craft for the class. They made crafts and ate pizza and desserts and they had fun.

Carlos and Titi had been counting the days until their school vacation was going to start but I was not so sure. They are going to camp for only a couple of weeks and then we are going to travel a little and stay home most days. We are not sure if we are going to Guatemala during the summer or if we are going to go later in the year. I am sure we will have fun no matter what we end up doing.

I am looking forward to sleeping later than usual (never enough sleep for me!), to afternoons of no homework and to enjoying some days with the kids in museums or parks.

Titi had also her Brownie Scout party at a water park. Don took the kids in the morning and then I went to watch them. It is so much easier now that we don't have to be watching them every single second. They ran around with the other kids and only came back to see me from time to time. It was hot and we applied lots of sunscreen. Wish it was not so humid and hot!
